Entry must be submitted by mail or homepage.
Each entrant can enter up to two haiku poems, and they must be in English.
Please include: Name,Current, address,gender,e-mail address, and phone number.
Free. One person can send two pieces of Haiku ( only unpublished works)
Winners will be informed by mail at the beginning of November 2008.
Prizes will be awarded at the Kumamoto City general gymnasium and youth center on November 24,2008.
Publications will only be sent to winning individuals during the latter half of Febuary 2009. Winning haikus will be displayed on this homepage.

All submissions to the Kusamakura Haiku Competition must be original to the author and cannot have been previously published. Haiku submissions to the Kusamakura Haiku Competition cannot be sent to any other publications for consideration,including online publications, and they cannot appear in any published form, including print magazines and journals, online forums, blogs, personal websites, etc., until after the completion of the Kusamakura Haiku Competition Awards Ceremony.
